If your main bags remain at a hotel during a Makkah visit, collecting them afterwards becomes a separate stop with a practical purpose. Make that stop visible in the transport request. A return to the hotel entrance does not by itself explain whether the journey ends there or continues with the luggage.

Confirm the hotel side of collection

Ask how stored bags can be retrieved and who is allowed to collect them. Keep any collection reference with the responsible adult. If the party will divide during the visit, make sure the person returning for the bags has what the hotel requires.

Do not promise a vehicle departure immediately after arriving at the property. The collection process belongs to the hotel's arrangements and the party's readiness. Explain any fixed onward commitment when asking the provider to review the sequence.

Show the largest load, not just the first load

The outward visit may involve only day bags, while the next leg includes the party's full luggage. Describe the larger load when choosing a vehicle. Otherwise an option that works for the outing may not suit the journey after the collection stop.

If some bags belong to travellers leaving separately, identify which items are going with the shared vehicle. A total luggage count is less useful if nobody knows which bags should actually be loaded. Keep the allocation simple and agreed between the households involved.

Check where the service ends

There are several possible requests: return to the hotel and finish, collect luggage then continue, or arrange a later separate departure. Ask for the structure you want and review the proposal accordingly. Waiting, an additional stop and a further destination should not be assumed from a general mention of bags.

Before the visit begins, nominate the person who will handle collection while another adult keeps the travelling party together. This can make the handover easier without requiring the driver to supervise hotel tasks. The aim is a clear connection between a light outing and whatever follows it, so the later luggage collection is treated as an expected part of the request rather than a surprise extension at the end.
